The Float Zone is an addition that Richmond has been waiting for. I went for my first float at this center last week and it was hands down my BEST float experience to date; the atmosphere, the warm welcomes from David and his staff, the cozy pods...I was in heaven. Whether you want some quite time, a space for creative thinking, or an access to some deep meditative states, this is the perfect spot for floaters of all levels and I will be recommending The Float Zone to all my friends. I will definitely be returning as a frequent floater and look forward to many more hours of stillness and deep relaxation. I wish I could give more stars.

I have now floated 5 times at The Float Zone, and I cannot say enough great things about this center and the floating experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and calming- a peaceful getaway from the day-to-day grind. On my first float, I was given a tour of the center, and was walked through the process of preparing myself for a great float. After I got in the pod, I had a few minutes of mind chatter/figuring out my surroundings/deciding what position worked best for me, but I was soon able to fall into a deep state of relaxation. When my session was over I felt so at ease and comfortable. The post-float lounge is a wonderful way to 'soak' in your relaxation after your session, before making your way back into the real world. By my third float, it took me no time to get right into the mind space for relaxation. I am so happy to have The Float Zone in Richmond, and as an addition to my life. I want everyone to experience floating!

I am thrilled that the Float Zone has opened in Richmond, it is the perfect escape from daily stresses. The atmosphere is very serene, I immediately felt at ease upon arrival. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, answering any concerns I had about my first time floating. I was slightly apprehensive during my first float, but quickly relaxed into the experience. I was able to totally unplug from a busy schedule, and be in a space where I can deeply rejuvenate! Post floating, my muscles felt extremely loose, better then a massage. I experienced a sense of clarity and renewed vibrancy during the next few days. I will definitely be making floating at The Float Zone part of my wellness routine, come try this experience you won't regret it!! -Courtney L.
