Adding Information to a Company Profile
All registered users of Manta.com have the opportunity to enhance the information about any company on Manta.com. That means you can go into your company listing and add as much detail as you want.
Adding information to your Manta.com profile is a great way to promote your company, whether it's to Manta’s worldwide audience or to the people in your hometown. And it’s a great way to be sure the information about your company is accurate and up-to-date.
To add to a company listing, just search or browse for any company listed on Manta.com. Once there, click on the “Is This Your Company?” link or the “Add to Company Profile” link in the myManta Controls.

You will be required to register or login before submitting any new data. Once you are logged in, just fill out as much of the form as you would like.
In addition to basic fields such as address and contact information, you also have a freeform space to submit more extensive information about what you do, sell, manufacture, etc. This also is an opportunity to tout your company’s uniqueness or awards you may have won. And there’s a special place to identify any green products, services or initiatives your company is involved in.
Once you’ve filled out the form, submit it to the Manta editorial team for approval. Submit only information you know to be accurate. Be descriptive but don’t include personal information in your submission.
The basic company profile information on Manta.com is provided by Dun & Bradstreet. Adding to that listing is a great opportunity to clarify any D&B information that may be confusing or incorrect.
While this information does not replace the basic D&B profile, it does afford all Manta users the opportunity to add meaningful company details to the basic Manta.com profile. (See instructions below on how change your listing with D&B.)
After the update is approved you'll receive a confirmation email, and the new info will be displayed on the main page for that company.
Submission Guidelines
User-submitted content will be rejected if it contains:
- Profanity and/or threatening speech
This includes any profanity (including creative spellings such as #$%@), threatening comments, sexually oriented words, inappropriate slang or any word or combination of words that can be interpreted to be profane or obscene.
- Discriminatory speech
Including but not limited to race, age, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or handicap/disability.
- Foreign language
Only entries in English can be approved.
- Spam
Any commercial content, marketing or sales information that is not related to the company profile or is otherwise inappropriate to post.
- Blank or garbled text
Random characters or nonsense words will be rejected.

How to Change or Update Your Company Profile
The company profile information on Manta.com is provided by Dun & Bradstreet.
If you have found incorrect D&B information listed about your company, D&B offers a unique interface, eUpdate, that allows you to submit the correct data.
You’ll need your company’s D-U-N-S number to use the tool. If you don't have a D-U-N-S number, D&B can walk you through the process here.

Please note: It may take up to 90 days until the profile is updated on Manta.com.
After an update is complete, it's important to recheck the profile periodically to make sure the information stays up-to-date.
