Kept my deposit of $2505.00-Initial consultation and review of inventory with Kevin was smooth. In hindsight I should have questioned why they would only accept the $2505 as an ACH deposit. A quality assurance call was scheduled for 5 days before the move. I did not receive a call, when I called Spartan they said they were really busy and that I could go over my inventory changes with the driver on moving day. I asked who the moving company was and the rep said he would text it to me so I would have all the information. He never texted me. The day before the move I received a call from the actual moving company dispatcher to verify the pick-up time, I asked her what the name of her company was. She acted surprised that I didn't have the information and said she would text it to me so I would have all the information for the cashier's check. I waited for the text which I never received. Later that afternoon I started searching the number she called me from and found out that the moving company out of North Las Vegas had terrible reviews, lawsuits and over 50 current BBB complaints. One site had over 300 complaints including pictures of damage, theft, wet items. I could go on and on. I had to make an emergency text that night to the Spartan emergency line who confirmed that the moving company was assigned to us but said they don't have problems with them. I asked to be scheduled with another mover. The text response said to call in to the cancellation line the next morning. The next morning was moving day. We did not allow them to pick up our household goods. Kay in cancellation was very understanding that we were never told who our moving company was and that instead of forfeiting our deposit she would let it be used for a future move. We still need to move. In the last two weeks I have left two voicemails and three emails and they have not called me back so I am assuming they have scammed me out of my deposit. I never asked to find the cheapest movers and Spartan Moving & Storage from Kokomo Indiana did not contract with me in good faith and was not honest about the movers they use and then kept my deposit without scheduling a new moving date with me.
