Lady Black Tie first opened in November 2018 in Andover, MA, so we could bring fashion-forward, unique formalwear designs to the New England region. The original business plan was to be reliant on local visitors and have a modest online presence; however, within the first 6 months of operating, we generated a high volume of sales online from customers around the world, we quickly flipped into an e-commerce business with a small showroom location. Lady Black Tie first opened in November 2018 in Andover, MA, so we could bring fashion-forward, unique formalwear designs to the New England region. The original business plan was to be reliant on local visitors and have a modest online presence; however, within the first 6 months of operating, we generated a high volume of sales online from customers around the world, we quickly flipped into an e-commerce business with a small showroom location. Our retail store started to fill up with boxes, shelves and shipping supplies that in mid 2019, we confidently opened our first warehouse/office location separate from the retail store in order continue our growth and properly serve both our in-store and e-commerce customers with the attention they deserve. In August 2021, we relocated our business to Hudson, Massachusetts.
