In 1989 Lisa opened a transactional law practice, focused primarily in taxation law & tax return preparation, wills & trusts, corporate & Lisa Y. Shorts Pitell of Pitell Law Firm, P.L., has been a resident of the Bluewater Bay area of Niceville, FL, since 1989. She graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1999, receiving a joint degree in law (J.D.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). After graduating from law school, Lisa completed a post-doctoral program, obtaining an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Miami. In order to be close to her family, Lisa returned to the Emerald Coast and opened a transactional law practice, focused primarily on taxation law and tax return preparation, wills and trusts, corporate and business law, contracts, and probate and guardianship law. She practices throughout all of Florida.
