I wanted to share my experience with York Paint Company. At first, I was kind of hesitant about this company because of some reviews from several years back. I live in York, South Carolina. I have always used smaller local companies for my home services. After getting estimates from several contractors all of which were much larger companies than your paint company I decided to hire them and they did not disappoint It was an extreme pleasure to meet each and every talented individual that represents this company. I could've not asked for a better job in the painting of the interior and exterior of our home. My wife and I are very appreciative of all the hard work. Thank You and God Bless.

I wanted to share my experience with York Paint Company. At first, I was kind of hesitant about this company because of some reviews from several years back. I live in York, South Carolina. I have always used smaller local companies for my home services. After getting estimates from several contractors all of which were much larger companies than your paint company I decided to hire them and they did not disappoint It was an extreme pleasure to meet each and every talented individual that represents this company. he owner Scotty Deese is a lier and a thief!He forgot to mention he doent have a crew or transportation! We gave him 1500 for paint supplies to paint a 1550 interior of home. Ceilings, walls, trim, doors etc. He was a no show on 2 days. In the 10 days that he had access to my home. He could not complete 1 room. The mistakes are to many to count. Paint on every thing, ceiling fans, hinges, lights, windows, He painted over light switches and outlets. He didn't even prime the walls or sand them properly before he painted them. There are paint drips everywhere! When we fired him, we gave him 2,000 to go away and allowed him to get his materials and go. We then discovered he had stolen 1/2 of our cabinet doors. He then proceeded to bribe us for the return of them for another $1,325.00. We had to go to his location at 198 Rachel rd, York SC to pick up our stolen cabinets from him. If he has worked for you . Check there for your stolen items. Bribery and theft is a crime. He then texted me to allow him to get the rest of his materials from my yard. Which I graciously left at the curb for him. He has cost us a fortune. We were told by a realtor to not use him but I gave him a chance . The lack of references should have been 1 of many red flags. We've had another Painter tell us that it all has to be repainted. I have text and receipts of all of this. I have been notified from 3 other people who have also had problems with him. He has gotten $4,825 from us this is hardly robbing him considering that at $3500 was more than half of the quote to do the entire job! Since not 1 room was completed and said friend was only there for 2 days to finish 1 room. A professional Painter is repairing and repainting the rest of the home. Please reach out me if you need receipts, pictures, or have questions.
