As dentists who specialize in young teeth, we help children understand the importance of going to the dentist and ways to improve their oral health. Established in 2022. Dr. Hae Jin Kim is a second-generation Korean-American who was raised in Boston and Los Angeles. She chose dentistry because she genuinely cares about others and wants to help them with their problems. The best part of her job is forming relationships with children and families. She enjoys watching children grow up, especially those who were once anxious become more confident with every visit. Dr. Pedro M. Alvarez grew up on the St. Lawrence River in a small rural town in upstate New York. His father was a dentist and his mother a nurse, so he was exposed to healthcare early on. Dr. Alvarez started as a general dentist but found that many adults have anxiety because of a bad experience as children. So he set out to make a difference as a pediatric dentist. Our husband and wife team, Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Kim set out to create the type of practice they'd want their own children to visit. Our doctors love interacting with children on their level, so they instantly feel calm and relaxed.
