I have also had a terrible experience with this roofer! His estimate was almost 28K on 48 squares with a lifetime warranty on the roof! I got other quotes ranging from 13K to 16K after giving him the money. I gave him a 19,000 check from insurance which he immediately deposited into his account. He is someone I knew and trusted! So to get my business, he lied to me right in the beginning to promise to build off the back of my porch to extend it. So, of course I believed him. After going round and round with him, he refused to extend the roof saying he couldn't do it because that would be benefiting off the insurance company and tells me that is illegal. While waiting, he was taking lavishing trips all over the place! As I was waiting to make a decision, he gets into trouble, so I went ahead and let him fix the roof because I was afraid of losing the insurance money and my roof. His workers came in and fixed the roof and the rotten wood that he agreed by TEXT to fix and then left. He left the UNTREATED wood unpainted on my home where there is an HOA which I can be fined for. I have been asking him for days for my warranty which he has YET to still provide me! He is now telling me he will not provide the warranty to me until the depreciation check is given from the insurance company. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING HIM!
