Hi there! I am Amanda, owner of San Diego Sewn. My shop is located in San Diego, California, about 10 miles from the Mexico border. The diversity of Southern California is unmatched. Here we can go from sand and sea to mountains with snow, to another country all in a single day. This desirable town can be overwhelming, but I always find solace in my art. As a Southern California native, I am inspired by year round foliage, warm tones, and movement in patterns. I have always been a creative soul, but also a responsible, predictable one. Having always followed the expected path, I never dove into the artist inside until recently. My love for sewing became my love for fabric and patterns. I opened this little shop as a way of sharing my favorite colorways and artists with all of you. I hope you enjoy your journey through all this little shop has to offer.
