I had a great experience donating my eggs with Lucina Egg Bank. The process went smooth for the most part and the coordinators and nurses were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had. Sarah from the RSMC OR team was very helpful and always checked in on me post egg retrieval. She made sure to answer my concerns and gave me helpful advice to reduce the pain and bloating.
Lucina also took care of all my travel and accommodation expenses. The hotel was decent and not far from the clinic. The egg retrieval procedure was easier than I expected.
Although two weeks post retrieval I found out I had huge painful ovarian cysts, which I knew was a risk. Once this got brought up to their attention they didn't seem too concern or really care. They just told me they'll schedule me another post egg retrieval appointment, which I'm still patiently waiting for a week later. I've gotten the feeling that once they get what they want from you (eggs), you're no longer their problem or concern.
There was also a few times when I went to my outside monitoring appointments for my ultrasounds and the card Lucina had on file for the outside monitoring clinic to charge ended up declining, causing me to come back and reschedule.
Other than those issues/inconveniences my egg retrieval journey with Lucina was decent.

I recently did my second donation with Lucina Egg Bank, and it was great both times. They made me feel comfortable and like family while working with them. The ladies there really know how to build a personal relationship with someone and are so friendly and helpful. They answered all questions the first time around, which made me confident going forward. I experienced mild cramping after the procedure, but their nurse was helpful and provided me with instructions on how to manage the symptoms. I appreciate that their staff continues to care for their donors even after the donation process is complete. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Lucina Egg Bank. They are highly recommended!

I had a great experience donating my eggs with Lucina Egg Bank. The entire process went smoothly and my coordinator Rachel was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had. Although the screening process lasted a while, it was well worth it in the end.
Since I am out-of-state, Lucina took care of all my travel and accommodation expenses. The hotel was lovely, with comfortable beds and warm chocolate chip cookies. The egg retrieval procedure was easier than I had expected. I was able to resume my normal activities after a day or two.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I recommend them to anyone interested in donating eggs.
