I had a great experience donating my eggs with Lucina Egg Bank. The process went smooth for the most part and the coordinators and nurses were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had. Sarah from the RSMC OR team was very helpful and always checked in on me post egg retrieval. She made sure to answer my concerns and gave me helpful advice to reduce the pain and bloating. Lucina also took care of all my travel and accommodation expenses. The hotel was decent and not far from the clinic. The egg retrieval procedure was easier than I expected. Although two weeks post retrieval I found out I had huge painful ovarian cysts, which I knew was a risk. Once this got brought up to their attention they didn't seem too concern or really care. They just told me they'll schedule me another post egg retrieval appointment, which I'm still patiently waiting for a week later. I've gotten the feeling that once they get what they want from you (eggs), you're no longer their problem or concern. There was also a few times when I went to my outside monitoring appointments for my ultrasounds and the card Lucina had on file for the outside monitoring clinic to charge ended up declining, causing me to come back and reschedule. Other than those issues/inconveniences my egg retrieval journey with Lucina was decent.

I recently did my second donation with Lucina Egg Bank, and it was great both times. They made me feel comfortable and like family while working with them. The ladies there really know how to build a personal relationship with someone and are so friendly and helpful. They answered all questions the first time around, which made me confident going forward. I experienced mild cramping after the procedure, but their nurse was helpful and provided me with instructions on how to manage the symptoms. I appreciate that their staff continues to care for their donors even after the donation process is complete. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Lucina Egg Bank. They are highly recommended!

I had a great experience donating my eggs with Lucina Egg Bank. The entire process went smoothly and my coordinator Rachel was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had. Although the screening process lasted a while, it was well worth it in the end. Since I am out-of-state, Lucina took care of all my travel and accommodation expenses. The hotel was lovely, with comfortable beds and warm chocolate chip cookies. The egg retrieval procedure was easier than I had expected. I was able to resume my normal activities after a day or two. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I recommend them to anyone interested in donating eggs.

My wife and I have always dreamt of having a big family, but infertility stood in the way. We had completed several IVF cycles and still weren't any closer. We were confused about what to do and even considered adoption at a point. But eventually, we decided to try IVF with donor eggs. That was when we purchased frozen eggs from Lucina Egg Bank. Their staff members were very friendly, professional, and helpful. Our eggs arrived at our clinic sooner than we expected, and after a week, we got the greatest news of our lives. We had 4 quality embryos and on the first transfer, my wife became pregnant. If you are thinking of growing your family through egg donation and are on the fence, I 100% recommend that you go for it and definitely talk to Lucina.

"I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt, who did not want her identity revealed but still wanted to show gratitude to Lucina Egg bank and their team for their help. She has tried to conceive on her own for more than three years without success. She and her husband then decided to go for fertility testing. That was when the doctor discovered that she had poor-quality eggs and that it would take a miracle for her to get pregnant naturally. So, they made the decision to have a baby using donor eggs. During her research, she found the Lucina website and chose to purchase one cohort of frozen donor eggs. It did not take long for the eggs to be shipped to her fertility clinic in Indiana. After purchasing the batch, they went from having no options to being able to choose whether they wanted a girl or boy. They decided to leave it up to their doctor to pick the best quality and she gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Emilia without complications in November. She and our entire family want to say thank you to the entire Lucina Egg Bank team for giving her the best gift in the world: the gift of a family. "

After several unsuccessful IVF cycles, my wife and I turned to the Lucina Egg Bank for help. We even tried a donor egg agency, but it didn't work out because the donor backed out at the lasst minute. We were running out of options and money, so we decided to try frozen donor eggs. The team at Lucina was easy to work with and professional. We bought two cohorts of donor eggs and have them shipped to our clinic in Newark. We did two transfers, and the second one was successful. We welcomed our son, Adam, in December 2021. We know that not everyone will have the same experience, but for us, the decision to use Lucina Egg Bank was worth it. We would recommend them to anyone who needs donor eggs.

My partner and I researched many egg banks when we were looking for donor eggs, but Lucina was one of those that stood out to us. We chose them because of their detailed and thorough screening process and the selection of eggs to choose from. Our cohorts arrived at our fertility as expected, which allowed us to begin our IVF treatment during our summer break. The team at Lucina Egg Bank was on top of every step of the process and professional throughout. We ended up with 4 embryos and transferred one in September which was successful. We highly recommend them.

It took me some time to digest the fact that I cannot produce healthy eggs. It was a strange and depressing feeling at first. When our doctor first proposed egg donation, I couldn't shake the thought that my baby will be born from a stranger. What changed my views is the fact that I will become a mother after all. It was my greatest longing after all. While my baby won't be genetically related to me, she will grow in me and be a part of me. Our clinic was partnered with Lucina and once the treatment path was decided, we started looking for a donor on their gallery. Thankfully, we found a donor who looked a lot like me. I have to say that our coordinator was a great help in arranging everything. She talked to us every day and answered every single question, even those that I myself think were odd. Her kind and supportive nature was a huge factor in our confidence in this process. My first cycle met with some hormonal complications and my cycle was cancelled. The second cycle did the trick for me. My little angel will celebrate her one year birthday in August. Thanks to my clinic, Lucina and the kind hearted donor for making me a mother."

Lucina was very supportive and made me feel confident even though it was my first donation. My assigned coordinator answered all my questions and the communication was thorough. That's what impressed me about them. They took care of all travel arrangements and appointments and even helped me plan my cycle around school breaks. Without a doubt, this is the best agency for first time donors.
