Off Shore Express was created in 1998 to meet the growing demand of the catalog and E-commerce companies. With the growth of the internet, shopping online became possible from any location. The problem was most catalog companies had to add the line, "oversized items not available in AK, HI, PR and GU". This was not only frustrating for the consumers who could look at the item but not purchase it. It resulted in a major loss of sales.
