Paul Gurgol is a licensed physical therapist and certified pitching mechanics instructor with over 25 years' experience.

He was inspired to write his children's book series "Zero the Hero!" from helping coach his son, Joshua, play baseball. He considers Joshua to be an original Zero the Hero and uses aspects of his real-life experiences with his son in writing these stories. Paul Gurgol has included real life training principles in these stories that he uses to help baseball players improve their pitching skills.
