Dr. Freeman is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and completed medical school in his home state at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a urology residency training program at the University of Southern California, and subsequently was accepted into a two year Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the Kenneth Norris Cancer Center at the University of Southern California. Following his fellowship training Dr. Freeman was the director of the clinical aspects of the Urologic Oncology program at the University of North Carolina before relocating to Reno in 1999. Dr. Freeman has been performing robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery, primarily on cancer patients, since 2008. His practice primarily focuses on the care of patients with urologic cancers, and men with prostate enlargement. He continues to care for a broad spectrum of urologic conditions in addition to these.
