William Kane, M.D. specializes in nonsurgical management of musculoskeletal injuries, arthritic joints, and spinal conditions, focusing on optimizing functional abilities. Born in the Bronx, New York, he graduated magna cum laude from The City College of New York with a degree in mechanical engineering. His work as a biomechanical engineer at the Hospital for Special Surgery inspired him to pursue medicine. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his internship at Jacobi Medical Center, followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Kane is board-certified and a fellow of the American Board of PM&R, with a special interest in spinal disorders.
