Dr. Johnigan feels that it is a privilege to care for patients. He has always been inspired by his grandfather, Richard H. Johnigan Sr., who played an instrumental role in bringing the first Shriner's Burns Hospital to Galveston. Dr. Johnigan pursued his residency training at the University of Texas in Houston, where he trained at Memorial-Hermann Hospital, LBJ General Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and St. Joseph's Hospital.
