The fund was founded in 2014 by Judah Spinner, CFA, and is headquartered today in Toms River, New Jersey. Since inception, the fund has delivered returns far in excess of the S&P 500 and other competing opportunities. BlackBird is primarily focused on identifying mis-priced equites. The firm has investments in Tidewater, Dollar General, Constellation Brands, Caesars Entertainment, lululemon athletica, Alibaba, PayPal and Fiserv.
