Katia is a trauma-informed therapist that understands the significance of forging a genuine client-therapist relationship Katia is a trauma-informed therapist that understands the significance of forging a genuine client-therapist relationship. She has worked with various populations and particularly enjoys working with adults that may be looking for ways to become “unstuck” or yearning to overcome past and present day challenges. Katia brings a Collaborative, holistic approach to her therapy sessions. She uses a combination of Trauma-Informed models as well as a Solution Focused approach to assist clients in improving their coping skills, gain new perspectives and identify maladaptive skills they’ve acquired along their journey that no longer serve them in the present day.
