Visit our historical boutique hotel in the heart of Dresden Living luxury isn't gold, champagne or expensive clothing. Living luxury is dedicated to what is good, what is real. It is found in the little things which surprise and delight us. In furnishings created by regional craftsmen, in steaks served in the restaurant which are allowed to mature in the meat safe until they reach perfection, in the cakes made by the hotel's own patissiers. All of these represent commitment to handmade products. Living luxury continues the legacy of manual craftsmanship. As a philosophy, as an approach. Already a centre for trade and bustling activity many centuries ago, at the present day the Gewandhaus continues to open its doors wide to the city of Dresden and its people, welcoming visitors with its show bakery and restaurant, not only on an everyday basis but also for special events.
