Founded in 1989, McClellan Automation Systems is an advanced manufacturing systems company that designs and builds high-value custom production automation equipment. A privately owned company, McClellan provides clients across the U.S.A. with services ranging from small, proof-of-principle projects to full-size turnkey automated systems. McClellan Automation Systems provides custom automation equipment for high-precision discrete part assembly, process automation and web handling. The company specializes in difficult applications using a variety of process solutions. All McClellan systems are proven with a factory acceptance test prior to shipment and installation. McClellan Automation Systems is a custom-engineering and automation company that works with both R&D and manufacturing organizations. The company has supported product launches with small robotic workstations that have been designed and delivered in less than 21 days. In larger systems, McClellan has completed validation six weeks ahead of schedule. The company is proud that the typical start-up time for a McClellan Automation Systems machine is less than 24 hours from the time of delivery. Founder and Chairman James W. McClellan looks to the future by investing in companies developing emerging technologies, “Our goal is to continue the diversification into new markets and advanced manufacturing systems.”
