Mike Dies was my home building contractor. He did not build my house to code and now I have water poring into my crawlspace. When confronted about it the first time he admitted that they normally don't put waterproofing paint on the outside of the foundations of properties they build, even though it's code. He called one of his ground guys to come out to "fix" the problem the first time but they didn't do the job right. They put waterproofing paint on the inside of the crawlspace so now the water fills up the foundation blocks and overflows into the crawlspace. He wasn't willing to pay for the fix the first time until I told him if we needed to go to the lawyers we can. Now I still have the water issue and he won't return my phone calls or texts. Don't use Mike Dies or Dies Construction out of Lafayette TN.
