I am extremely displeased with Rusco Electric, LLC. I recently purchased an older home. The Dream Home Inspection Report noted "Main Electrical service conduit is corroded exposing the service cables". I called Rusco Electric on April 28th and also gave Russell the name and number of an electrician who had seen the conduit, spoken to someone at FPL and was willing to share the information. Russell Fisher indicated he knew what needed to be done and did not call the referenced electrician. He emailed me an ESTIMATE of "$1100 plus permit fee" and I told him I wished to proceed at his earliest availability. The next morning without notice he arrived at my door to look over the conduit. He did spend a considerable amount of time checking it out. Unfortunately, I did not note his arrival and departure times - may have been 2 hrs. He then said that instead of $1100 dollars the cost would be $4300 plus permit fee! At that point, I said I would need to delay the project to obtain additional funds. Though, at that point, I expected to have Rusco Electric complete the job, I did say I might consider asking a second opinion. He then claimed I owed him $200 for the "service call" when in my mind all he had done was prepare an estimate. And I wrote him a check for $200 and wish I had not!
