The Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center was founded in 1949 as one of the first speech and hearing centers to serve children in Northeast Florida. Our audiologists offer evaluations and treatment for hearing loss for children and adults, as well as other services that range from tinnitus treatment, Cochlear Implant evaluation, programming, and service, and hearing aid prescribing, fitting, and adjusting. Our Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate and treat different speech-language disorders, voice disorders, receptive and expressive language disorder, apraxia, and more. Both our audiologists and speech-language pathologists offer appointments in the office or via tele-health. We are also the first healthcare provider in North Florida to become a Certified Autism Center, and all of our clinicians are Certified Teletherapist Specialists through the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).
