If your customers can wait at your credit card terminal until it is convenient for the staff at Capital to check their voice mails, finish lunch and call back, you'll be fine. Our customer left. They won't come back. Learning this lesson the hard way was expensive. For icing on the cake, they tried charging us a $400 "early cancellation fee" because we decided to go with a merchant service provider who is actually there when we need them.
