Absolutely one of the worst experiences. I leased a apartment from Marykae Hager . Looked at the property and decided I liked it. Filled out a application , waited a few days for her background check. And everything was ok. Gave her first and last months rent plus security deposit in a money order because that's the only way she excepted . Few days go by. She stopped over to inspect the the place asked why I wasn't done moving yet I said. I was doing it by myself. It would take me a bit. She wasn't happy. She came back every day for five more days. Still taking my time moving in. She said and I quote "this isn't going to work I want you to leave " I was like say what lady I've only been here 8 days. She continued day after day calling texting stopping over at the house. Finally I had enough and called a lawyer. And he called her but that didn't stop her . She came over one day about 3 weeks of living there and my two sons 4 and 7 years old were outside riding there scooters . She looked at them and I quote again said "why are you still here you need to leave it trying to show this place to other people". I intervened and told her not to speak to my children . She then called them unmannered hoodlems . I couldn't believe this. She handed me a fake eviction notice . I have it to the lawyer he said it ment nothing . Because I signed a lease I figured I'd be stuck there one year so I mailed her rent in a money order because that's the only way she excepted . For the next month rent. One morning into my second month there I get a knock on the door it was a sherif with a eviction notice. Due to non payment . I'm extremely confused. So I call her she claims she never got the money order . Not for first month or second and even the deposit . I can't believe what I'm hearing because I literally handed her the money order for deposit first and last month from my hand to hers . Few days go by we go to court she tells judge I've never paid a dime. I show the receipt to the money orders. Judge said they could be to anybody. Gave me 3 days to leave the house. Every day for them 3 days mariekae Hager sat outside in her white Jeep Cherokee license plate GRAM1 all day long. Harassing me and my boys. Calling non stop. When I was finished moving all our belongings to a storage unit because I couldn't find another place in 3 days. My boys and I where forced to stay at a hotel. The last day I was there I got a letter in the mail box with the cut up money orders. This lady is sick and twisted I don't recommend anyone to lease anything from her. She came off sweet and nice but quickly turned bitter and I have no idea why. For what ever her reason Marykae Hager I pray for you.
