I brought in 4 drapery panels to be dry cleaned. I was told one week, but they were done 2 days later, which was great. I was having company over the following Friday so this was a pleasant surprise. I paid 125 dollars, which I thought was ridiculous, because the drapes did not have pleats. I took the drapes home and when my husband and I went to hang them they were each 6 inches short. They had shrunk. I called Nancy, the owner twice, the first call was never returned and the 2nd one she happened to pick up. She insisted that this never happened before, but it did, to ours!! She told me to bring them back in which was 1 hour round trip to her shop and back and this was the 2nd time doing this. She confirmed they had shrunk and said she would try to stretch them. They were able to stretch them about 1 inch. She said she would take the hem down to get more length. After all the back and forth, she was able to only able to lengthen them that there was still a shortage of 1 1/4 inch. When we picked them up the 2nd time, I mentioned to her that maybe she could replace the drapes, at which she scoffed. We took them home and lowered all our curtain rods, having to spackle and paint the holes it left in the walls. Never once did she offer to reimburse me. Finally when we hung the newly shortened drapes, I noticed there were orange stains on 2 of the panels, plus there were tiny holes all along the bottoms from were they removed the stitching from the hem.I texted Nancy the pictures and got no reply at all. I spent hundreds of dollars on these draped and have nothing. I am still hoping she will make good on this transaction. This is NO way to do business. She should be ashamed of herself.
