had the fortune of finding Michael P. Quinn's google reviews after being referred by a friend. I was in desperate need of a good criminal defense attorney and felt confident after reading Mr. Quinn's reviews. Once I spoke to him on the phone, I knew I had to have Michael P. Quinn as my attorney. I looked through hundreds of criminal defense attorneys so you don't have to. This guy is THE BEST. Charismatic, good sense of humor, and you can tell he's good at his job because he believes in his clients and becomes a passionate advocate on their behalf. I felt like he was just as upset about my criminal case as I was! I received a police summons to the precinct because a tall 15 year old teenager accused me of pushing him down on the ground and threatening his life after failing to pick up his dog dropping several times in front of my house. I learned that it was best to hire an attorney to go talk to the police on your behalf to avoid self-incrimination and the booking process. Michael represented me from the beginning of this case to the very end. He talked to the police detective and got me a summons to appear instead of me having to sit in a jail cell for booking for weeks. After the arraignment, the original plea deal called for an assault in the 3rd degree conviction, 30 days in jail, 90 hours of community service, and 12 weeks of anger management classes. Michael is persistent and would never take the first deal which would have left me with a criminal record and a rap sheet. After a few continuances, Michael talked to the district attorney and convinced him to dismiss all the criminal charges and reduce the sentencing down to a disorderly conduct violation, a $175 fine that goes with the violation, 6 hours of community service, and one anger management class. Michael is honest, knows the best course of action to take, and puts his clients first over making money instead of taking an expensive attorney's fee for trial (which would have had bad results due to the fact that a 15 year old is involved and the DA could use this angle to give me a worse sentence) Michael advised me to take the deal he made because the deal produced a better outcome than the sentencing that have happened at a trial with a jury which would have favored the 15 year old. He only charged me $1,500 for the whole case. No retainer and hourly fees here. Mr. Quinn makes his money because his reputation makes him highly sought after. After he resolved my case he represented 3 more of his clients waiting in the courtroom that day. Overall, I am pleased with Michael and would highly recommend his legal services to anyone charged with a crime or in search of legal representation. I would call him again in case I get into another legal bind.
