I purchase my current home from the Worley’s of which Mr Worley of Exterior Design Company had “renovated”. There’s not a single thing that I’ve done to this house where I didn’t have to go in and fix something that was not done correctly the first time when the original restoration was done. First thing was a leaky roof which during repair we found globs and globs of silicone that had just been squirted into the gap rather than simply adding extra flashing. I’ve never seen so much silicone in my life. After that I kept noticing a terrible smell coming from the top mounted bowl sinks that were in every bathroom. I finally realized it was slime mold that had built up inside the actual bowls because Mr Worley had decided not to use the drains designed specifically for these bowl type sinks and instead had drilled holes in regular drains which allowed water and everything else to build up on the insides of the sinks. So I had to replace every sink in every bathroom. 4 in total. Next was the master bath where we noticed the shower floor, which was pebbles set in mortar, was cracking. When we tore out the mortar we realized there was never even a shower floor pan installed nor a weep drain. Water had completely rotted the subfloor out and was leaking water directly into the crawl space. So we had to completely replace the shower floor and tile, the correct way, and put new floors in because of rot. Currently I am having to replace the ENTIRE wood floors in our living room and kitc
