Orlean Market is located in Orlean, Virginia. Between Hume and Waterloo, lies small village of Orlean. Established in 1870 and still standing. We're a country market and restaurant that reminds you what fresh, home-cooked food is all about. Our menu is based on simple comfort food - but with flair - where the taste and quality stands for what we believe in. Good, fresh, locally grown food prepared with an unexpected, yet welcome, twist. Chef Victor McLawhorn and his staff work hard to make your visit to our 'simple country market' memorable. Not only is the food great, the building historical, the mountain views unbelievable.....but you can pick up a nice bottle of wine or beer from our broad selection, and the last-minute things you forgot to pickup at the grocery 'in town'. We also sell the only fuel for your vehicles within 8-10 miles around!
We offer our private event space ( with or without special 'catering' menus from our kitchen) for your next family, birthday, wedding or special occasion celebration; group and club meetings and more ....set in the beautiful, peaceful foothills of the Blue Ridge.
Coming to The Orlean Market you will experience the unexpected — and oh yeah, the service is great too!
