Had a mortgage issue, had previously hired Synnergy Law. Mortgage company didn’t honor their obligation, so called Synnergy back to continue with my case. Upon calling, Themis Law answered the phone stating Synnergy was no longer in business, but they had taken over their files. Was charged another retainer, and set up on a monthly payment for Themis. Only time I ever heard from Themis was when they would call to collect money. Never received the weekly calls I was promised. I sent in my documents as requested. Never heard anything, I called 2 weeks later where I was told my documents were sent in the wrong format. And that they had sent an email that I never received. Was not aware of this until I called them. I then resent the documents, and told them the mortgage company had moved forward in the foreclosure process. I called everyday to find out the status. Was told their team would check with the mortgage company and get right back to me. I never received a phone call til the following week where again they asked for another payment. Partial payment was made, then 2 days later, I received a call from another group saying they were in the bankruptcy division. Was told this was my only option. At that point I fired the firm. I asked for a partial refund of my money, and was told they would not be giving it as they had worked on my case.
