Uptown Family Dentistry Dr. Maritza Chavez We want to welcome you to Uptown Family Dentistry, home to advance comprehensive dentistry for people of all ages. We appreciate you considering our dental office for your oral health needs. We hope that with every encounter and visit with our office you will be satisfied. We hope our level of dental care will exceed your expectations. Dr. Maritza Chavez grew up in Edinburg, Texas where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas – Pan American. She then taught Biology at PSJA High School before attending and receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. Dr. Chavez is the owner and Lead Dentist at Uptown and New Horizons Family Dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Chavez enjoys church, biking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
