It would be wonderful if corporations like BP, who already get flack for fossil fuel use, would make effort to use their properties as environmental protection projects, as well as a place for profit. The BP fenced property along Route 8 has enormous potential to be a beautiful wildlife preserve, which would help the environment and beautify the community, while not interrupting the work they are doing now. The areas they own along the river are not cared for, trees have been irresponsibly topped, and one large parcel is leased to a junk yard, with a fence that is falling over in places. It's an eye sore to our town to drive in either end and see junk yards. BP can, and should take pride in their place in our community, even if it is owned and managed by outsiders. We're sick of looking at their mess and their obvious lack of concern for the people in the community where they gain enormous profit. BP- clean it up!

They seem to take care of the property located at Bromley,KY terminal but the other properties they lease to individuals are nothing but a junk yard literally. It would be nice if they not lease and take pride in making the property look nice so the neighbors do not have to look at an eye sore.
