David Cevallos is the absolute worst property manager I have ever came into contact with. David Cevallos is extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Anyone wanting to know whether or not they should rent from David Cevallos please heed my warning. If you are not someone who is okay with a property manager who likes to show up unexpectedly during the hours of 7pm-9pm on weekdays, okay with harassing phone calls and a blatant disregard to your concerns, or okay with someone who will speak to you in a degrading manner, not willing to assist with proper maintenance, inconsiderate to emergencies or day to day life such as work and caring for children. Do not rent from this man. In addition David Cevallos does not like to collect rent in a legitimate way. He will avoid money orders, nor does he have a tenant payment portal. This is the only property manager I ever encountered that requests either a direct deposit of rent into his bank account or thru "Zelle" a money transfer app. He will also accept payment through "Cash App" another illegitimate money transfer app as long as you send the additional funds for the"Cash App" fee so although rent may be -for example-$785/a month if you transfer money thru one of the 3 illegitimate ways of transferring money you will have to pay an additional fee ranging between $30-$50. I have lived in several other legitimate apartments and properties all of which had some formal way to pay your rent, either with an online tenant payment portal or a money order to the business. David Cevallos also likes to cut corners in order to avoid paying the extra dollar to properly maintain the property which in turn only hurts the tenants. During my one year stay at this property we have had a leak at least once every 2-3 months in which water must be shut off to fix. In addition, living in a city that reaches up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, for there not to be any form of Air Conditioning and the tenant must purchase their own window A/C just to maintain cool is extremely inconvenient and David Cevallos offered no form of compensation nor alternative if the tenant cannot purchase their own A/C that tenant will need to suffer the scorching heat.
