I recently had my home built through On Top. At first, everything was great as far as communication and appearance. However when we got close to closing, we had to have the painter come back 3x. AC company come out 4x to properly balance our home. We have erosion issues on our property due to construction of other homes. After closing, it has been impossible to get any sort of help. Our deck is also bowing already. Although that is not covered under warranty, it’s a shame that within 8 months we are already dealing with this issue. We have NUMEROUS nail pops inside the home as well as squeaky floors. I would definitely do some research before purchasing a home otherwise you may be in the same predicament that we are in

Extremely hard to get in contact with once you close on your house. The house itself looks good, however the work isn’t up to par. Things that need to be addressed with the builder go unattended. I’ve called, emailed and still no answers. They promise things that they don’t plan to deliver on. Upon speaking to neighbors (whose homes were also build by On Top) we are all having the same issues. Good luck speaking to someone who cares once closing is done. UPDATE: Hi Brandie so nice to hear from you. Haven’t heard anything from you since closing. Not even after sending an email to let you know we had a huge gaping hole in our yard. We also had an issue with our septic tank. This is when your husband reached out to my husband to find out why I wrote the initial review. I have since called him and let him know about our other laundry list of issues. He spoke with me and let me know what to do for our interior issues. He also requested that I send him pics of the issues outside of the home and he would send someone over. I sent them and asked a question as well but he hasn’t gotten back to me. By now Im just clueless as to the best form of communication between us and you guys.

This builder was outstanding; we fell in love with the design and the workmanship was very well done. During the inspection the builder was tagging more things then my husband and I. We had a few things to address and they were taken care of promptly. This builder will give you a binder with all the contacts to reach out to and also their email should you not hear back from the individual contractor.
