Parisi holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Pace University at Pace’s Lubin School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant having been employed with the worldwide accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP. Gerard is licensed to practice in the states of New York and North Carolina.
Gerard has focused his entire career in law on estate and trust matters. He has personally handled most every aspect of trial from the initial inception and pleadings, to depositions before trial, to handling full trials from opening argument to verdict. His particularized knowledge of estate and trust matters is invaluable in arguing the specific and sometimes subtle positions that need to be made in estate and trust trial work. He has represented clients in will contests, MHL Article 81 Guardianship proceedings, executor removal proceedings, contested accountings and more. He is also often appointed by the Surrogate and Supreme Courts as court appointed attorney and as a Court Evaluator in estate matters.
