I got a call in the next ten minutes from the dispatcher who apologized and stated that the technician would be five minutes late. Five minutes?! Wow! The technician got there in the next ten minutes, examined the lock and quoted the price. It was only gonna cost me 50 bucks.. I couldn’t believe it! It was the stuff thriller movies are made of, but when it happened to me, that’s when I felt the real heat of the moment. It was a dark dreary night and I had a long journey ahead. As unnerving as it was, I knew there was no point panicking and started calling various locksmiths in East Saint Louis, IL for help.
