just now-Edit Please, if you are concerned about mold in your home, don't contact this company. I got a mold inspection from the owner, Raymond, all he did was measure humidity and moisture. I told them about mold that was growing on furniture and pool table in basement, and also black stuff on pipes, but he said the black stuff on the pipes was not mold and everything was fine and we didn't have a mold problem. The report had NO mention of mold, and just included preventative measure (apply shockwave to the walls, seal walls, increase ventilation, run a dehumidifier). We completed all the recommended preventive steps. Fast forward 3 years, my kids are sick with so we got an inspection from another company revealed a lot of mold in the basement and some in the other areas of the house. We had run the dehumidifier to keep the humidity in the basement below 45 based on his recommendations since his inspection so this was not new mold. I had the new mold inspector test the black stuff on the pipes and this was in fact mold (high levels of claudosporidium). The owner, Raymond, called me to discuss this issue and claimed because he suggested we use shockwave everywhere, it was him saying there was mold in the basement. I checked the report and it said to just apply it to the drywall. He had told us during inspection this was a preventative measure. He also tried to blame us for not hiring a licensed contractor to apply the shockwave to the drywall. He said had we done that, they would have cleaned the pipes too. If we had hired a contractor to do the walls, why would they have done the pipes when the report didn't mention there was mold? It is not their job to find mold, it is the mold inspector's job... We had hired him to find out if we had mold in our basement and he said we didn't have any. It seems pretty clear his was in the wrong. He was nasty and rude, tried to stretch the truth about the report (that he said to apply shockwave to entire basement, therefore there was mold), and ultimately put the blame on us for not hiring a contractor to remediate mold we should have known was there despite a report he gave us to the contrary.
