Went to the store today to upgrade my Android phone to an iPhone 12. Sales rep swore that I didn't need to do a phone-to-phone data transfer because my data was already backed up to the Cloud. Come to find out later after two hours on the phone with Xfinity Tech Support, that you can't download data from a Droid to an iPhone via the cloud, that it can only be done PHONE TO PHONE.
I've now lost vital business contacts, text messages and voicemails.
Tried to call the store but of course they don't give that number out. Instead got a bureaucratic run-around from one rep to the next. Plan to go to the store tomorrow and return the iPhone and get another Droid, hopefully restore my missing data onto that phone, then visit the Verizon store a few doors down and switch carriers.
Xfinity phone and cable are ok, but Mobile is a joke, as is the Xfinity Store. No accountability. Shameful.
