So I was visiting my parents' house, minding my own business, when they mentioned that their shower drain was clogged. And let me tell you, this wasn't just any clog - this was a clog of hair so big, you could practically see it from space! Somebody's gotta be going bald here! Anyway, my parents had plunged at the drain and poured those awful chemicals down there to no avail. So they called in the pros, and boy oh boy, did they try to pull a fast one on us. These plumbers come in and take a look at the drain, had this hand crank snake thing that they were using to try and clear the clog, but it wasn't working. So they're like, "Oh man, you're gonna need to tear up the shower and redo the whole plumbing system. It's gonna cost thousands of dollars. We'll call with an estimate." Can you believe that? Thousands of dollars to fix a clogged drain? So I decided to take matters into my own hands. And you know what? I got that clog of hair out in no time. Less than two hours after the "pro" left, I had the pipe draining like new. But here's the kicker - we never heard back from these plumbers about the estimate. It's been three weeks. Not a peep. But they sure didn't mind taking $300 for doing absolutely nothing. Talk about a scam!
