My locks had been giving me trouble for quite a while and I decided to have them looked over by a local locksmith. The guy who turned up had absolutely no clue what he was doing. PHENOMENAL!!! I just don’t think there’s another word that befits the description of what Locksmith Lock Store is all about! Don’t know which is better, their services or the low rates at which they offer them.. My daughter ended up locking herself out of our home (for the umpteenth time) only last week. As usual, I asked her to wait it out at her aunt’s by the time the guy I usually called got there. Despite waiting for two hours, he wasn’t there. After endless follow-up calls he flatly told me that he couldn’t make it cos he was on the other side of the town. Infuriated beyond words, I looked online and found Locksmith Lock Store. These guys had amazing reviews and decided to give them a try. Within ten minutes, someone from Locksmith Lock Store reached the place and my daughter was back inside in no time. And the best part was the price!!! I was charged half of what I’m usually charged by other locksmiths. David even suggested installing a smartphone operated smart lock owing to the remarkable track record my daughter had when it came to losing keys! I scheduled an appointment for the installation the very next day. Who wouldn’t? North Chicago is extremely fortunate to have Locksmith Lock Store… 10 on 10 for service and prices! Now, I don’t know how I could make up for all the trouble I put these guys through. Perhaps, this review would be a consolation! I needed a lock change and I shifted my schedule several times. The technician from Locksmith Lock Store visited my property, waited for extended periods and when I couldn’t keep my end of the appointment, he had to visit my property again. I finally made it and apologized profusely! When I received the final bill, I expected them to charge for the visits they’ve made, but they didn’t! Thank you so much for being so patient with me! I simply must share this one! Best experience I had with these guys over at Locksmith Lock Store! I needed to replace a busted deadbolt right away. I looked online and found a couple of firms, but none of them worked after 5 pm. Seriously??? Who gets back home at 5 pm these days? I didn’t even care much for the pricing, as all I cared about was the safety of my property. But the dispatcher insisted on stating my problem and gave me an upfront price right over phone! Wow! John came over within a few minutes and replaced the lock with a new one. I couldn’t believe that the cost for the new lock, the call-out fees and the installation charges barely added up to $60. The key fob wouldn’t work and I couldn’t figure out why. I might’ve dropped it a couple of times, and I believed that it had finally started to show. I enquired in a couple of places in North Chicago and almost everyone told me that I needed a replacement – all except for Locksmith Lock Store. Kevin agreed to come have a look at the fob and attempt to fix it, which he did. It barely took him 5 minutes to fix the loose wiring and get it working again. Easily 5 stars! The keys were stolen which meant that I needed to get my locks rekeyed right away. Most firms I called in North Chicago, IL offered a reasonable price, but didn’t fix a proper time and instead offered 2 hour or 4 hour windows, which meant that I had to take a day off from work. I didn’t want that! So, I called Locksmith Lock Store up and enquired. The dispatcher informs me that they don’t do windows and could work at any time I want! That’s just what I needed! Nearly every other locksmith I’d called up in North Chicago asked me to bring the lock to their shop. Apparently, they only provided on-call service for big issues. I lost my transponder keys – AGAIN! The last time the dealer charged me around $400 for one key and I was quickly on the edge of panic. I decided to explore other options and found Locksmith Lock Store. Eddie promised me a new key in less than $120. Apparently, my car needed some updated software to program the key but Eddie assured me I didn’t have to pay for it and charged me what he quoted over the phone. A man of his word! Incredible work!!! If you need a locksmith in North Chicago, trust me, Locksmith Lock Store is your best bet. I had a tricky rekeying job on a high security lock and it was the only locksmith firm in the entire region that said the job could be done. They sent Eric, a friendly and extremely talented technician who rekeyed the Schlage lockset in less than 10 minutes. If he can do this, he can do just about anything. Excellent service!
