But the lucrative prices clouded my judgment and I called them up for a simple lock repair job. At the end of it all, I’d spent around $500 on a totally unnecessary smart lock, some new locks on my windows and a brand new chain lock. I didn’t feel cheated at that point. But when the smart lock stopped working within the next two weeks, and the security door chain popped out of its socket, that’s when I felt cheated!
