My wife and I unfortunately got locked out of our new house when we were doing yard work today and unfortunately we did not have the best experience with the team as a whole. The dispatcher was nice at the beginning of the call and stated we will have a tech call you with the estimated time and price and it will be about $29.99 for a service fee (make sense to me). Not too long after, the tech called (barely can hear him) and said he is finishing up with the last client, verifies the address, and he will be right there *hangs up* (no time or price). Did some work outside and waited and waited and waited. After 1.5 hours I called the dispatcher wondering what has happened and they apologized and we'll get a hold of him. Waited another 20 minutes.. the tech finally calls saying he is on his way about 18 minutes *hangs up*. He gets to my house and he says it'll be about $200 plus the service fee. It was just the bottom lock and not the dead bolt. I'm sure that is the price for lock picking a door but that was not communicated to us about it. Our side door is not worth that amount anyway and we declined the service. He said because he showed up I have to pay him a service fee. Even though he didn't do the service, showed 2 hours later, and didn't call us about the estimate before getting there (even a minimum/maximum price) like the dispatcher said. The tech said it's best to take it up with the company. We kind of thought it was ridiculous but didn't want to cause a problem with the tech and paid him. We used a circular saw and sawed the handle and got right in within 5 minutes. And bought a new handle for $20. I called the company back and said I had a simple complaint (very nicely cause I'm not someone to complain) the dispatcher doesn't say a word and *hangs up*. I called back again (holding it together) and talked to another dispatcher that at least talked to me and said "did he show up.. yes.. there's the service fee" *hangs up*.. my problem here is that the tech did not call me with the estimated time and price before coming out.. waited 2 hours.. and out $30 for nothing.. and constantly being hung up on... The tech probably knew I would have decline if he gave me the price and got an easy $30 for nothing.. very shady.. terrible customer service.. highly don't recommend.
