Doonan Tax Services was relaunched at its new location in the Bronx in 2016 and added two new partners to help increase its customer base. Unlike most tax preparation firms, the company offers one-on-one consultation services, in which tax results are produced free of charge. If the customer is happy with the results, he is then quoted a fee and the tax return is filed and processed in less than a week. The company specializes in serving blue-collar workers in the New York area, but also offers a mail-in service for its client base in Florida, California, and Texas, among other states. Supplementing its support of hard-working Americans, the company makes annual donations to various Catholic charities and the US Armed Forces. In 2017, Doonan Tax began offering life, auto, and home insurance to its clients. The firm is also open year round to provide tax advice and financial planning services.
