This is as good as it could ever get! Called Ben from State Locksmith Services over to my place to get a new lock installed. Ben suggested I get the locks rekeyed instead which helped me save a lot of money! He could have totally taken advantage of the situation to upsell me on a new lock, but didn’t. An honest professional, great communication and people skills! Will definitely call State Locksmith Services again for other requirements in the future. I’d just evicted a tenant and needed the lock changed. When I called them up on 347-332-2443 and asked them to help me install a new lock I’d purchased from the nearby hardware shop, little did I expect them to get there so fast. I think the technician arrived in about ten minutes! Wow, that was super quick! Anyway, once I showed him the lock I needed installed, Eric from State Locksmith Services told me that it wasn’t a great one and the existing one would do a better job at securing my property. I couldn’t believe it! I’d just paid $100 for it, and Eric dismissed it as something completely useless. That’s when he explained how a DIY rekeyable lock wasn’t great for security. If you could do it, anyone could do it – that’s what he said! He had a point! I planned on returning the lock. Eric suggested that I rekey the existing the lock, which I did!
