My transponder key went missing. I was always careful with such stuff and I strongly suspected that the key was stolen. Though I had another key, it was the missing key I was worried about. I know what happens in case of car key theft – the stolen key could be used to gain access to my car and I would never even realize it. I was unwilling to take any chances and called the dealership for help. They quoted a jaw-dropping price and I did not have that much cash on me. I decided to look for cheaper alternatives and surfed the web, but had no luck. It’s no fun being locked out of your car, especially after darkness had fallen. I had absolutely no one to turn to for help as I was new to Winston-Salem, NC.
