Providing financial advice is a very personal endeavor. Personal in the sense that every situation is different, personal in the sense that in order to provide the most appropriate advice clients need to share their most private feelings, hopes and dreams and, personal in the sense of sharing their most sensitive private financial information. I understand and respect that sensitivity.
Unfortunately, in many cases, I believe the sensitivity and respect due to all people is not being provided. I am concerned that in too many instances I see people who have portfolios that do not reflect them or their individual situations. I am concerned because I see advisors who do not take a high level, holistic approach to understanding their clients’ entire financial situation. And I am concerned because I have seen too many advisors making decisions that at times are more likely beneficial to the advisor and less likely to the client.
At Sound Advice Financial we do things differently. As Investment Advisory Representatives we take our statutory fiduciary duty seriously. We are not Brokers operating in a brokerage environment at a brokerage firm. We offer money management options tailored to your individual needs.
