Collin Bryan Construction False Testimonials Caution using contractors with excessive 5 star reviews. I purchased a metal roof from Travis Jones less than a year ago. Feb/March 2022 several installation errors, which will shorten the life of the roof and allow water seepage, were noticed. Travis could not produce any credible references or engineers report to validate the many places where installers folded the metals the wrong direction in valleys and other areas that will channel water behind folds. Travis made false claims stating this is a Berridge Metals procedure. I gave him an email from a Berridge Metals engineer stating they do not endorse this. They did not seal panels at side walls or install counter trim which will cause water to seep into side walls and under panels. This left 11 holes where rodents can enter my attic. Many more errors. After researching the company I learned owner Brian Johnson began purchasing fake 5 star reviews from various internet companies in 2019. He has purchased hundreds of reviews. Many of the profiles have never lived in Texas. Many more have never lived in the United States. Travis was aware of the fake reviews and aware that the company does not honor many warranties. I paid $35,000 for this roof and it is going to cost over $20,000 fo r the repairs. When Travis told me he was once president of our homeowners association I thought he could be trusted. I am just sick over this. The roof is now leaking in one area. Since they used sealant in many areas where panels should have been folded under with a cleat, it wont be long before there are many more leaks. Plus all these exposed ends will rust. Travis and Brian claim there are no minimun standards in roofing, contrary to the high standards and integrity he boast on his website. Travis claims he is no longer with the company but that he is responsible for the lifetime workmanship warranty. Travis states if I call the company, they will refer me back to Travis. Travis and Brian refuse to honor warranty/make repairs, They refuse to respond to issues in writing.

Professional, honest, sensitive, and most importantly, thorough. I am so relieved that I found an amazing company that I can support and work with to have as my go-to for all my roofing needs. 5 stars!

I contacted them out about a couple of loose shingles after a home inspection and they were super beyond helpful accommodating our requests.
