I'd rate him lower if I could. He will take your money and never finish the work. I've tried for two years to settle with him and now he just ignores us. If he'll do his next door neighbor this way, he won't hesitate to do it to others. Don't trust anything he says.

Negative rating!!! Do not do business with Cowboy Welding or Daniel Treadwell. He will take your money and never do the work! I paid him $4000 cash on April 20 and he said it was a down payment on my fence and patio cover. Of course, he said he would start the next week and never did a thing. Every time I would call, he would say he was finishing a job and it would be next week. Finally, on October 5th, 2022, I told him that I wanted my money back and he would say that he would be there Monday, then Wednesday then Friday. I am a retired school teacher with a limited income and only have so much money coming to pay my expenses. He is a young man and lives in a huge house and supposedly works everyday. Not true!!! I want my money back so I can have a reputable company build my fence and patio cover. I can't have someone else do it without my money. I have called and called--at first he would answer and feed me another lie, but now when I call, his mailbox is full so he can't receive messages. I have contacted an attorney, so I will be suing him for my money back just like everyone else. I am a 65 year old, retired single woman. If he would take money from me, he'll take it from anyone. I just want my money back!!!!

DO NOT USE Iron Cowboy Welding LLC and Daniel Treadwell. He will take your money and not complete your job. He was paid over $79K for the initial down payment on a metal home. That was to be used for all the materials (Metal, lumber, air conditioning, sheetrock, garage doors, spray insulation etc.) He started on my building and was paid for the concrete (extremely terrible job), plumbing, and red iron erection. This was an additional $65K. Also was given a $15K check that he was instructed to hold until the check from my Leander arrived in his mailbox. He received the check from my Leander the following Monday and said he had my check at his house. After weeks of skirting the issue of bringing the check back to me we noticed it cleared our bank. When confronted about it he blamed it on his wife, stating she deposited it. He has abandoned my project, will not answer calls, emails or text messages. We have had to pay for the sheet iron, plumbing, air conditioning, indoor framing, electrical, spray foam insulation, sheet rock, garage doors, and on and on. Also have been out of pocket for labor to install all. He even sold my original sheet iron instead of taking it back and exchanging it for the correct color. I had to purchase the correct color in order to get the sheet iron put on my building. Over all we have spent roughly $150K and would have next to nothing to show for it if we had not started doing most of the work ourselves. In addition he showed up with no porta-johns for his employees and no construction dumpster. We are still picking up the debris and trash left behind. I am contacting the District Attorney to inquire about pressing Civil and Criminal Fraud charges against Iron Cowboy Welding and Mr. Treadwell personally.
