I hired TK Painters (Timothy Wade) to paint my family room and my kitchen cabinets. Initially when he came out and measure the room to give me a quote he spoke alot about the previous contractor and things he didn't do. That alone made me think I was going to get a top notch work done. The first day I came home I noticed paint on my brand new blinds, appliances and floor. They painted w/ the blinds up therefore it was alot of cleaning to remove the paint. Mr Timothy Wade mentioned to me that he wanted me to post his work on Next Door, and show pictures to advertise his business. His exact words were to be honest. The minute the brush stop painting he wanted me to approve the work. Well its hard to see the flaws in wet paint, but he assured me what you see wet you will see dry. This is not the case, I have pictures of the work for viewing. At one point he mentioned that I was being too picky, which if you look at the photos I wasn't picky enough. He continously stated that this was his best work. The paint chipping and seeing the cabinets is right after the paint dried. I approved the work wet which I wouldn't recommend anyone do this but also look at the lower level of the work in full details. As I was cleaning the floor you could see where the cabinets look as if the paint didn't stick not sure if he should have used a primer or what nor how many times he has painted cabinets such as mines. I even noticed an area he just skipped over. Needless to say I sent him a text to try to rectify the situation on 7/30/21 at 9:26am and got no response.
