My client wrote this review I found Brad Fellinger through Facebook in January 2024. I have played golf off and on for more than forty years and even sold golf equipment for a period in the late 80s. I had been taking lessons and practicing quite a bit but didn't see results on the golf course. I decided to get my Ping G irons checked by an independent fitter, and this is where Brad made all the difference. I got these irons several years ago at a Ping Day at a local club, and the Ping Regional Fitter fitted them. When the irons arrived, they were just okay. I never felt like I hit them as well as I should. After asking me about my goals for the fitting, Brad took every iron and ran it through a frequency machine. Brad explained that although the shafts were marked Regular, they varied based on frequency from Senior Flex to Stiff, which would account for some of the inconsistencies I was experiencing. The next hour was spent hitting balls in his high-tech fitting studio. His recommendation for Accra Graphite Shafts came out of this session, which would all be cut to the proper length and frequency matched with new grips. This was on a Monday night. I picked the clubs up the following Saturday afternoon and raced to the range for a quick session, and they were clearly different. The ball flew higher and farther, and the dispersion was better. I played with them in a Golfweek Senior Tour Event the next day and won my flight with my best score yet in one of these events. Due to work demands, I put the clubs away for two months. I played another event this past Sunday and won my flight again with my new low score. Even my 21-year-old son, an accomplished golfer, said, " I don't know what that guy did to those clubs but you hit them a lot better." I will never forget Brad's final words when I left with the clubs that Saturday: "If you aren't firing at the pin, I haven't done my job." Folks, he wasn't kidding.
