Easy and seamless experience!! Financially, I never thought I was able to get solar and The Solar Bros were able to make that happen for me. I have solar on my roof and not a penny out of my pocket! After researching many companies, I found The Solar Bros on Yelp last year and decided to give them a call because of all the great reviews they had. We spoke to Jacob who did a phone interview first and asked me all of the initial questions about our current usage, PG&E billing, and what our ultimate goals were for solar power. After the phone call, a home visit was scheduled about two days later where he came out and showed us a customized presentation for our house and how we could best achieve 100% solar generation for the lowest cost. The Solar Bros have industry leading panels to achieve a higher power output per panel than any other manufacturer. We were able to purchase less of their 360 watt panels than would have been necessary from a competitor with 260 watt panels. The Solar Bros also uses "micro inverters", which means each panel on the roof has it's own power inverter which makes having one central inverter unnecessary. This is great for future expansion to add more panels as central inverters can only handle a limited number of panels per unit. The Solar Bros warranty is also pretty great. They offer 25 years on both the product and power generation, claiming that their panels will still generate 60% more power at the 25 year mark than the current competitions' product.

Wow~That was quick--It was about one month from the first appointment with Darin, the cool, Solar Bros sales representative to depositing $1K via my bank's bill pay, having Conner inspecting my roof two weeks later then, finally having Jacob and his solar crew installing the SunPower, 360-watt, nineteen solar panels on my roof yesterday! First, I must state I paid for my entire solar system upfront in cash via my bank's bill pay system . . . No financing needed so, I will immediately reap the green-energy, cash benefits without delay. Secondly, I paid the entire solar system $28,318.00 via my bank's bill pay system plus, the $1K deposit equalling $29,318.00-I'm not bashful stating the upfront costs because the rebate incentives will surely outweigh the upgrade, expenditure costs: I was in constant communications with the Vacaville Office Personnel who provided the succinct information and documentation needed for my homeowner's insurance. Furthermore, I received courteous, prompt, customer service which I'm confident I will shortly receive the pertinent documentation needed for submitting to my homeowner's insurance for property upgrades, i.e., installing solar panels on my roof! Overall, I know my utility bills will remain completely within my retirement budget as gleefully affordable without the emotional, financial drain as P, G, & E's lifetime, indentured benefactor!

The Solar Bros are the best company! I found them online through the BBB and they seemed to have a great rating. I had gotten my fair share of quotes for Solar but figured I would give it one last chance. I called them last month. They were able to set an appointment within 2 days, which was very quick! Darin showed up on time and had a packet with all our savings, panel layout, and everything I needed to feel comfortable about making a decision. They work with a bunch of programs to get solar. Being retired with no income and not paying taxes, Darin showed me a program that didn't require any credit, requirement, income verification, or down payment. I can't claim the tax credit because I am retired but I still ended up saving 40% a month on my bill. The install was fast and the best part is I don't have any bill with PG&E!!!!
